Papal Prophecies

There are numerous predictions from various sources on the office of the papacy. Any or all of these could fit the 2012 time frame.

Catholic Sources

St. Malacy of Ireland (1094-1148) was given a vision of the remaining popes in the year 1139. His predictions appear to match each of the popes since, including the last ten to hold office. The very last pope will come after the one known as "the glory of the olives," who many understand to be the current pope, Benedict XVI. Of the last pope, Peter the Roman, it is predicted that Rome will fall during his papacy and after him will come the judgment of God

In 1909, Pope Pius X, had a vision of a pope leaving the Vatican, walking over the dead bodies of his priests as he went.

The revealing of the third secret of Fatima occurred during the papacy of John Paul II, who saw the failed assassination attempt on his life as the fulfillment of the prophecy.

According to a report given to the Vatican by Lucia, the last surviving of the three children who are said to have received the secrets from Mary in 1917, the vision was of a man in white, whom the children understood to be the Pope. This man was going up a steep hill, followed by a line of other religious people, passing through a city half in ruins. Corpses lined the ground to either side of the path as they sorrowfully struggled to climb toward a cross made of rough tree trunks at the top of the hill. As they went, soldiers fired bullets and arrows at the man, and three of the religious people going with him were killed by these.

Nostradamus

In Century 2, Quatrain 41, he writes:

The great star will burn for seven days,
The cloud will cause two suns to appear:
The big mastiff will howl all night
When the great pontiff will change country.

Web Bot

The web bot project has long predicted the fall of organized religion. Predictions include raiding of the Vatican for its treasures, murdering of priests, taking of lands and buildings. This comes by a general disillusion of the faithful upon the revealing of secrets linking religious leaders (esp. the Vatican) to the Illuminati. This will lead to a 'meltdown' of all religious 'corporations.'

Recent reports say that the organizations and dogma of monothesistic religions will not survive the events of 2012 and the five years following, with the 'religions' language looking like it will disappear entirely from their data sources by 2014.
